'Identity' - Editor's Letter

What makes you, you? What are you passionate about? What book can you read over and over again and never get sick of it? What film do you know all the words to? What experiences have moulded you into who you are today?

This issue is all about you - I'd love to curate your art, your thoughts, your poetry, everything that makes up your very being.

This could be anything like your religion, culture, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender or where you live. I want you to be proud of where you've came from and who you are today!

This issue is a celebration of our differences. To be different is something wonderful, to be weird is beautiful! However, it's also about realising that we are more similar than we even realise. Whilst they might take form in different ways, we all have dreams. We all have an identity.

I thought it would be a bit more interesting to give you a creative prompt, whatever art form that may take. It could be a written piece, a story, a painting, a video, whatever you choose! My dream is to create a community where everyone feels comfortable sharing and discussing, with no topic being off limits.

So the prompt I want to give you is pretty simple, in the hopes that it'll take many interpretations...

What Makes You, You?

I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Much love,
